Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My career path has spanned 38 years, and with each experience, it pulled me deeper into a very intimate space; Caring for Aging Seniors. From private practice to home health, senior living, and care management, I became an integral part of each client's life. I quickly realized how my involvement not only supported the seniors, but also their families. The "sigh of relief", the release of guilt, resentment, and fatigue for the adult children or caregiver, brought me a deep sense of joy, knowing how my simple chosen profession made such an impact on so many lives.
