Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
When I was a child I witnessed a car crash where a man was thrown from the car, and he was laying on the side of the road with his chest torn open. I had this overwhelming feeling of not knowing what to do to help him. Later at my doctor's office my doctor showed me what my blood looked like under a microscope. It was an incredible experience, and it later convinced me to go to nursing school. In addition to working at the hospitals and being a nurse manager and nursing supervisor. I also work as a legal nurse consultant with attorneys. Now I know what to do to help.
