Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
In April 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Triple Negative Breast Cancer. After 16 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 rounds of radiation and 9 very painful surgeries, I am now in remission for close to 4 years.
As a breast cancer survivor, I've experienced the fear, uncertainty, and countless decisions that come with a diagnosis. I also know that many women aren't given the information, guidance, or support they need to navigate treatment and life beyond it.
