~ As your Personal Healthcare Advocate, I support you and your loved ones with multiple health concerns, whether they are aging in place or living far away. With 14 years' experience as an LVN, I have helped numerous families navigate complex health issues such as diabetes management, post-surgical care, and chronic illness support.

~ I can schedule appointments, labs, procedures, and arrange transportation. If you are local, I can accompany you to appointments to ensure effective communication with healthcare providers.

~ I will discuss with your doctor and request orders when you need Home Health, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), Wound Care, Caregiving, or Hospice services.

~ Assist with understanding and managing medication changes, including ensuring timely refills and proper adherence to schedules.

~Follow up to ensure caregivers are providing care as ordered, work with patient if they are refusing any type of care and work towards better outcomes.

~Aid in understanding and navigating the insurance world, including help in filing appeals to insurance company and contacting medication manufacturers for copay cards so patient does not go without.

~Educate families on end-of-life needs, including Advance Directives or Living Will, MPOA (Medical Power of Attorney), FPOA (Financial Power of Attorney) and Out of Hospital DNR needs.

~If issues arise that I am unable to give the best information, I have several resources that are willing to help provide the best action that can be taken in that situation.
