As the enthusiastic Owner and Administrator of Emerald Care, Nancy Bond is the heart and soul of the business. “You can’t thrive in this business if you don’t love it, and there isn't anything else that I’d rather be doing,” Nancy will always tell you. After informally practicing care management for five years, Nancy became a Certified Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers in November of 2019. She joined the Aging Life Care Association (formerly known as the National Geriatric Care Manager Association) as an Advanced Professional Member in April of 2020.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Nancy knew early on that her career as a chemical engineer was not going to cut it, so she went with her heart, and redirected her career path to nursing, with an emphasis in assisting the geriatric community and all the challenges that it brings with it. Her professional employment has ranged from working in a high-energy hospital setting to providing assistance in the caring of those faced with the need for end-of-life assistance.
