How I Can Help
As a nurse advocate, I support my patients every step of the way. I attend doctor’s appointments with them, help prepare questions ahead of time, and provide clear, written summaries afterward so they can easily remember what was discussed. I also help coordinate communication between specialists and providers, and I follow up on medications, lab work, and other tests to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. I'm an extra set of eyes and ears, making sure my patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Being a nurse advocate is the perfect fit for me because I truly believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. After spending 14 years in the hospital setting, I naturally stepped into the role of advocating for my patients—whether it was preventing medication errors, ensuring the right tests were ordered, or working closely with physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to take a collaborative, team-based approach to care. Now that I work in the community, my goal is to bring that same level of holistic, coordinated care to my patients outside the hospital, helping them feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
