How I Can Help
With 13+ years of nursing experience, I help patients and families better understand and navigate complex medical conditions, medications and the healthcare system. I am well-informed in helping families find long term care options for their loved one who can't live alone or with family any longer.
I understand how overwhelming medical information can feel, especially during hospital stays, new diagnoses, or major health changes. My goal is to help break things down into simple, clear terms so you feel more informed, supported, and confident in your care.
I can help you:
• Understand diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans in plain language
• Navigate hospital stays, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Prepare for doctor appointments and know what questions to ask
• Organize medical information, paperwork, and care plans
• Communicate more effectively with healthcare providers
• Support decision-making during stressful or complex health situations
• Help families understand medical information and what to expect next
• Assist with long term care options and placement for a loved one
My approach is compassionate, patient-centered, and focused on making healthcare easier to understand and manage for both patients and their loved ones.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My older brother was born with cerebral palsy and from a young age I've watched my parents struggle to navigate through the health care system. We spent many days in physical therapy and much time in the hospital due to his epilepsy disorder. I've also helped my brother navigate the health care system as an adult. He is the reason why I became a registered nurse.
I have worked in the healthcare system since I was 17 years old (27 years), starting as a CNA, and have seen how overwhelming and confusing the healthcare system can be for patients and their families. I became a patient advocate because I am passionate about education and helping people understand their diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans in a clear and practical way.
I support patients and families—especially elderly individuals navigating chronic conditions and care transitions—by helping them coordinate care, understand medical information, and feel confident in their healthcare decisions. My goal is to provide clarity, guidance, and support so patients and families feel informed and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.
