How I Can Help
Most frequently, I work with clients who are trying to define their healthcare goals and understand how to achieve them. I help patients explore what matters most to them, what they want their healthcare to look like, and how their options align with those priorities.

To support these goals, I provide:

• Medical record and medication reviews to help clients understand their care and identify questions or concerns.
• Appointment preparation to help patients communicate their priorities and ask meaningful questions.
• Complex care coordination and advocacy for patients managing multiple diagnoses, specialists, treatment plans, and healthcare systems.
• Support with insurance and treatment barriers that affect access to care.
• Guidance and encouragement for difficult conversations with care teams.
• Facilitated family conversations about care goals, changing needs, and healthcare wishes.
• Support during care transitions to help maintain continuity and keep care aligned with the patient’s goals.
• Advance care planning and guidance on palliative care and hospice options, based on the patient’s goals, values, and preferences.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My reason for becoming a patient advocate is personal. I have been a caregiver for my parent and my in-laws. I know what it feels like to be the family member trying to understand the options, ask the right questions, and support someone you love while carrying your own worries.

During my 12 years in hospice care, I saw other families facing those same challenges, often while making difficult decisions in the middle of a crisis. Families need room to be family, without feeling responsible for being the clinician. They need space to process what is happening, grieve the changes and losses, and adjust to a new normal.

These experiences inspired me to found Right Time Care Partners. I help people understand their choices, prepare for changing needs, and talk about what matters most before decisions become urgent. By helping with the details of care, I give families more space to focus on their relationships and support one another, while keeping the patient’s goals and wishes at the center.
