How I Can Help
I assist clients and their families or advocates in discerning treatment options through education and support.
I educate on informed decision-making that includes the risks, benefits, alternatives of each option, and how they fit in with the individual's personal beliefs, experiences, and needs.
I support those with high blood pressure (HTN), Diabetes, Metabolic Disease, Insulin Resistance, heart disease, and end-of-life care.
I love families concerned about advanced directives and difficult medical decisions, palliative care (symptom management), and even determining when hospice is appropriate. I am NOT an appropriate advocate for those who seek assisted suicide. I believe that life is precious and only the Lord determines when a life ends. My role is only to provide comfort and facilitate emotional and spiritual healing leading up to natural death.
I can assist in comprehensive functional laboratory reviews to inform about areas of concern and how lifestyle, nutrition, and activity can be used alongside other treatments to support the body's natural ability to heal.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
As someone who has experienced the dangers of healthcare as both a patient and a nurse, I don't want anyone else to have to go through that. I am blessed to have a nursing background but I still faced significant challenges when navigating the healthcare system for myself, my parents, and even my premature babies.
There have been too many instances where, if I hadn't been able to advocate for myself and my family, the situation could have been deadly instead of "just" life-threatening.
My role as a nurse is to act as an advocate supporting the patient (and family) so that they can achieve their best health and avoid unnecessary suffering.
I don't believe that patients should have to choose between "standard" (Western/Allopathic medicine) and "alternative" or "functional" treatments. I serve as an advocate for both "types" of care and act as a bridge between the two, depending on the individual's needs and preferences.
Health is not one size fits all, and I love seeing patients who thrive once they find the right treatment plan.
