How I Can Help
I support neurodivergent individuals and their families by navigating both the medical and school systems—from diagnosis to treatment to ongoing developmental support. I help ensure communication is neurodivergent-affirming, care plans are individualized, and environments are accommodating. I also provide guidance on IEPs, 504 plans, and school advocacy. Additionally, I offer support for those facing cancer, drawing on nine years of experience as an oncology nurse navigator to assist with care coordination and provider communication.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My journey as a patient advocate began as both a nurse and a mother. As a longtime oncology nurse navigator, I witnessed firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the medical system can be—especially for families navigating serious diagnoses. Then, as a parent of two neurodivergent children, I found myself on the other side, trying to advocate for their needs in both the medical and educational systems. I saw how often neurodivergent voices are misunderstood or overlooked, and I realized how much support families truly need. Now, I combine my clinical background with lived experience to help others feel heard, understood, and empowered every step of the way.
