How I Can Help
My role is to help you understand your healthcare, stay organized, and feel prepared—not to replace your healthcare providers, but to ensure you have the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions.
Here's how I can help:
-Advocate for older adults and individuals living with complex or chronic medical conditions.
-Help you understand new diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations in clear, easy-to-understand language.
-Create a personalized medical binder with your health history, medications, test results, provider contacts, and advance directives.
-Prepare you for medical appointments by developing questions, organizing concerns, and ensuring important topics are discussed.
-Attend medical appointments (when appropriate) to take notes, clarify information, and help you make informed decisions.
-Coordinate communication between your primary care provider, specialists, therapists, home health agencies, and family members.
-Help organize care for individuals managing multiple chronic conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, COPD, dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, and kidney disease.
-Review medications and help identify questions regarding side effects, interactions, and medication schedules to discuss with your healthcare providers.
-Assist with hospital admissions, discharge planning, rehabilitation, and transitions back home to help reduce gaps in care.
-Help identify community resources, home care services, rehabilitation programs, and support services that meet your individual needs.
-Guide families through advance care planning, including healthcare directives and medical power of attorney.
-Support family caregivers with education, care planning, and practical strategies for managing complex healthcare needs.
-Help you stay organized by tracking appointments, screenings, follow-up care, and preventive services.
-Advocate for your healthcare preferences and ensure your goals and concerns are communicated to your healthcare team.
-Provide ongoing guidance and support so you and your family can navigate complex healthcare decisions with greater confidence and peace of mind.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
As a nurse and healthcare administrator, I've spent my career caring for patients from two very different perspectives. At the bedside, I witnessed the fear, uncertainty, and questions that patients and families face during some of life's most difficult moments. Behind the scenes, I saw how complex the healthcare system can be and how challenging it is for individuals to navigate appointments, specialists, insurance, and treatment decisions on their own.
Those experiences inspired me to bridge the gap between the healthcare system and the people it serves. I understand that medical care doesn't end when you leave the doctor's office or hospital. Patients and caregivers often need someone who can explain medical information in plain language, help them stay organized, prepare them for important conversations with their providers, and advocate for their needs every step of the way.
