How I Can Help
I primarily help patients with complex or overlapping conditions such as POTS/dysautonomia, EDS/hypermobility, MCAS, small-fiber neuropathy, ME/CFS, Long COVID, gastroparesis, endocrine disorders, and neuroimmune illness. Many of the people I work with have years of records, multiple specialists, or unanswered questions that have never been pulled together clearly.
I can help you:
*Build a clear medical timeline from years of symptoms, testing, diagnoses, and treatment responses
*Organize medical records into a usable digital file or medical binder
*Create a concise one- or two-page summary for new specialists
*Prepare prioritized questions before specialist or primary care appointments
*Identify unanswered questions or gaps in a fragmented medical history
*Compare information from different specialties so important findings are easier to connect
*Research specialists and clinics with experience relevant to your medical presentation
*Search the medical literature for physicians who have published on uncommon or complex presentations similar to yours
*Organize prior medication trials, responses, and adverse effects so your clinicians can review them efficiently
*Help with health insurance denials and appeals, including organizing supporting documentation and requesting clinician-to-insurer peer-to-peer review
*Review medical bills for possible errors, help identify financial-assistance options, and help you understand billing disputes and patient billing rights
*Help with medical-record disputes, requests for corrections or amendments, and record addenda
*Prepare for complex appointments so the most important information is communicated within limited visit time
*Organize documentation for SSDI/SSI, disability, billing, and healthcare-navigation needs
My background as a nurse practitioner in endocrinology and internal medicine helps me understand complex medical information and organize it in a way that is useful for patients and their healthcare teams. My work in longitudinal dysautonomia phenotyping was presented at the 2026 Dysautonomia International Conference. I also have training and experience in infectious disease, orthopedics, critical care and hospice.
I do not diagnose, prescribe, order testing, or replace your treating clinician. My role is to help you organize your medical story, understand the information you already have, and prepare informed questions for the clinicians responsible for your care.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My path into patient advocacy grew out of seeing healthcare from three perspectives: clinician, patient, and parent.
As a nurse practitioner in internal medicine and endocrinology, I learned how much good care depends on recognizing patterns across systems. Then I became the complex patient and experienced how easily important details can disappear across years of records and multiple specialists.
Some of my deepest roots in advocacy came from my son. Because I was his mother, I could not diagnose or manage his care. What I could do was observe carefully, organize his history and recognize when something needed further evaluation. That advocacy helped him receive a POTS diagnosis before he developed the more typical symptom pattern. It gave him time to understand what was happening and make choices about his future.
That experience reinforced what I had already learned through my own illness: patients and families often hold important pieces of the story, and those pieces become much more useful when someone helps organize them clearly.
Today, I help patients organize records, prepare for specialist visits, identify unanswered questions, and communicate complex histories more effectively.
