How I Can Help
I help patients and families navigate complex healthcare and insurance systems by providing clear guidance, advocacy, and hands-on support. My services include medical bill review and error identification, insurance issue resolution, prior authorization assistance, and appeals for denied claims.

I assist with coordinating care, preparing for medical appointments, and communicating with providers and insurance companies to ensure patients understand their options and receive the services they need. I also support caregivers by organizing medical information, creating care plans, and reducing the stress of managing healthcare decisions.

My goal is to simplify the process, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure patients are informed, supported, and not overpaying for care.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My path into patient advocacy began through my work in medical billing and revenue cycle management, where I saw firsthand how complex and overwhelming the healthcare system can be for patients and their families. I regularly encountered individuals who were confused about their medical bills, denied coverage they didn’t understand, or struggling to navigate care decisions without clear guidance.

Over time, I realized that many of these challenges were not due to a lack of care, but a lack of understanding and support. I began helping patients and families outside of my formal role, explaining their bills, guiding them through insurance issues, and helping them feel more confident in managing their healthcare.

That experience naturally led me into patient advocacy. Today, I use my background and knowledge to bridge the gap between patients, providers, and insurance companies, making the process clearer, less stressful, and more manageable for those who need support.

I am particularly skilled in reviewing complex medical bills, identifying errors, and guiding patients through appeals and insurance challenges.

My background includes working with Medicare, Medicaid, and a wide range of commercial insurance plans, giving me a strong understanding of payer requirements, authorization processes, and common barriers to coverage. I am also experienced in therapy-based services (physical and occupational therapy) and familiar with the unique billing and insurance challenges associated with these specialties.

In addition, I have experience supporting patients with ongoing or complex care needs, including those navigating multiple providers, high-cost treatments, or frequent insurance denials. I am highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with both patients and healthcare professionals to resolve issues efficiently.
