Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
After forty years as a Physician Assistant, I saw too many people fall through the cracks: medication regimens misunderstood, important questions left unasked, discharges that were too soon, and treatments that didn't align with someone's values and real-life situations overlooked. Patients who had a knowledgeable advocate by their side consistently achieved better outcomes than those who did not. With someone coordinating between providers, hospital systems and facilities, small issues did not become complex, and unwieldy.

I started this advocacy business after having experienced being a caregiver for my mother and father. This was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. Trying to be their daughter and caregiver simultaneously was daunting. Attending doctor and treatment appointments, and coordinating their care and medications was unnecessarily difficult.

My independent patient advocacy practice provides every client with an in-person, health care experienced, patient advocate watching over their care. Reducing stress for the client and their family, preventing avoidable problems and helping them navigate the local healthcare system with trust, confidence and clarity. I hope you give me the opportunity to assist your family member or yourself. Healthcare is complicated, no one should have to navigate it alone.
