Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Through my clinical work and my work with the EDS Society Helpline, virtual support groups, and the EDS ECHO Advocacy Program, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate complex medical conditions. Many patients and families struggle to understand medical information, advocate for themselves, and put recommendations into practice—leaving them frustrated, anxious, and unsure of next steps.

I became an advocate because I believe no one should face these challenges alone. My mission is to provide clarity, guidance, and support, helping individuals and families feel empowered, confident, and capable as they navigate their health journeys. Seeing how people can transform and thrive with the right guidance truly inspires me.
