How I Can Help
I help patients and families navigate healthcare challenges at moments when clarity and coordination matter most. This may include understanding a diagnosis and treatment options, navigating Medicare decisions as coverage needs change, coordinating care across multiple specialists, and supporting families and caregivers as roles evolve. I also help clients think through transitions in later life, bringing perspective and continuity when decisions feel complex or time-sensitive. My role is to reduce confusion, ease burden, and help people move forward with greater confidence and understanding.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My work as a patient advocate grew out of personal experience navigating serious illness within my own family and, later, my own complex cancer diagnosis. Through those experiences, I saw firsthand how even excellent medical care can leave patients and families without the clarity, coordination, and support they need to make sound decisions. Having navigated care from multiple perspectives, I bring a calm, informed, and empathetic voice to the table—helping patients and families understand their options, anticipate challenges, and move through the healthcare system with greater confidence. When clients feel better supported and less overwhelmed by the process, I know I have done my job well.
