How I Can Help
Option 1 (for the newly diagnosed patient) If you or someone you love just got a new or complicated diagnosis and you left the appointment with more questions than answers, I can help. I am a physician and an independent patient advocate, and I work only for you.

*I read through your lab and imaging reports with you and put each result in plain words.
*I explain what your diagnosis actually means for your daily life and your choices.
*I lay out your treatment options side by side, with the benefits and trade-offs of each.
*I help you write down the exact questions to ask at your next visit, in the order that matters most.
*I go through the records from your different doctors and show you where their advice agrees and where it seems to conflict.
*I help you think through a hard decision so you feel steady talking it over with your family and your care team.
*I send you a written summary after each of our meetings that spells out what we covered and your next steps.
*I work alongside your own doctors; I do not replace them.
*We can meet by video or in person in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
*We start with a free 15-minute call so you can see if I am the right fit before you spend anything.

Option 2 (for the family caregiver) If you are helping a parent, spouse, or family member through a serious health problem and you are the one keeping track of it all, I can take some of that weight. I am a physician and an independent patient advocate who works only for your family, never for a hospital or insurer.

*I explain test results, scans, and medical terms in plain language so you are not decoding them alone.
*I walk you and your loved one through the treatment choices on the table.
*I help you prepare a focused list of questions before each appointment.
*I review records from every provider involved and point out where the advice does not line up.
*I help you and your family weigh difficult decisions with a clear head.
*I give you a written summary after each meeting so the whole family stays on the same page.
*I work with your loved one's doctors, not around them.
*I meet you by video or in person in Fort Mill, South Carolina, whichever is easier for your family.
*Your first step is a free 15-minute call to talk through what is going on.

Option 3 (for conflicting specialist opinions) If you are getting different answers from different specialists and you do not know whom to believe, I can help you make sense of it. I spent 14 years as an emergency physician, and now, as an independent patient advocate, I work only for you.

*I read your reports and results with you and translate them into plain English.
*I compare what each of your specialists has recommended and show you where they agree and disagree.
*I explain the reasoning behind each option so the choices feel less like a coin flip.
*I help you prepare the specific questions that will get you clearer answers at your next appointment.
*I help you organize records from all of your providers so nothing gets lost between offices.
*I walk you through your treatment options and what each one would mean for you.
*I help you reach a decision you feel good about and can explain to your family.
*I give you a written summary after each meeting, including what we decided and what comes next.
*I work alongside your existing doctors, not in competition with them.
*We can meet virtually or in person in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and the first 15-minute call is free.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
When my father was treated with radiation for prostate cancer, he developed a serious complication: a fistula, which is an abnormal opening between the bladder and the rectum. Repairing that kind of injury takes a surgeon with very specialized experience, and our family had to figure out who that was and how to reach them. I called a friend from medical school who is a urologist, and with his help we found the specialist we needed. I remember feeling grateful that I had someone to call, and thinking about how many families in our position would have no idea where to start.

For 14 years I practiced emergency medicine, where I cared for every kind of patient, diagnosis, and fear. Shift after shift, I met people who came in with questions no one had had time to answer. Most doctors are dedicated people working under real limits: short visits, complex insurance rules, and heavy patient loads. They rarely have a full hour to sit and walk through every worry.

My father's experience and those years in the ER are why I built HealthStrategix. I want every family to have what mine had: someone who understands medicine, has the time to explain it, and can help you find the right care when the path isn't clear. I work alongside your doctors, helping you understand your care and get the most out of every appointment.
