How I Can Help
I help patients and their loved ones navigate complex healthcare needs with personalized, independent advocacy and care coordination. Services include healthcare navigation, coordinating with providers and specialists, preparing for medical appointments, assisting with referrals and durable medical equipment, navigating insurance and benefits, and helping patients understand and access appropriate healthcare services.
I also assist with care transitions, hospice and palliative care navigation, Medicare and benefits questions, veteran benefits, and identifying resources and support services. I work directly with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers to help reduce barriers, coordinate next steps, and ensure the patient’s needs and priorities remain at the center of care.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My journey into healthcare advocacy was shaped by both personal advocacy experience and years of working alongside patients and families as they navigated the healthcare system. I have seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be to manage appointments, communicate with multiple providers, understand healthcare information, navigate insurance, and determine what steps to take next.
Through these experiences, I recognized the value of having someone who can listen, help organize the details, ask questions, communicate with providers, and help patients and families move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
That understanding became the foundation for PlainPath Advocates. I created PlainPath Advocates to provide patients and their loved ones with a clearer path through a healthcare system that can often feel complicated and difficult to navigate.
