Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My passion for patient advocacy comes from both my professional and personal experiences. I have worked in healthcare my entire career, but it was when my own parents began to age that I truly understood how complex and overwhelming the system can be.
I became their advocate—helping manage everything from doctor visits and medical equipment to assisted living, hospice care, and medical bills. Walking through that journey with them showed me how important it is to have someone you trust by your side.
Today, I am honored to provide that same support to other families, especially those who are not able to be there in person for their loved ones.
