My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of Breast Cancer Thriver, Sepsis
As a breast cancer thriver, I understand firsthand the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that accompany a serious diagnosis. My personal journey, combined with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare as a Doctor of Pharmacy and my credentials as a Board Certified Patient Advocate, allows me to support survivors from both a professional and lived-experience perspective.
Throughout my career, I have helped patients and families navigate complex healthcare systems, understand treatment options, manage medications, access resources, and advocate for their needs. I am passionate about empowering individuals affected by all cancers and rare diseases with accurate information, compassionate support, and the confidence to make informed decisions.
I believe every survivor, caregiver, and family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to walk alongside those facing cancer or a rare disease, offering hope, practical guidance, and encouragement while helping them navigate each stage of their journey with dignity and confidence.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My passion for patient advocacy comes from a deep belief that every person deserves to be heard, respected, and supported during some of the most challenging moments of their life. Navigating the healthcare system can be overwhelming, and I understand how important it is to have someone who can provide guidance, answer questions, and help ensure patients receive the care and resources they need.
I became a Patient Advocate because I want to empower individuals and families to make informed decisions with confidence. Whether it's helping someone understand their healthcare options, connecting them with community resources, or simply being a compassionate voice in their corner, my goal is to make the journey a little easier.
For me, patient advocacy is about building trust, promoting dignity, and ensuring that no one feels alone while navigating their healthcare experience. Every patient has a unique story, and I am committed to listening, supporting, and advocating for their best interests every step of the way.
