Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have been exactly where you are today. Before I became a professional helper for patients, I was a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a patient myself doing google searches to understand the medical world. Each of these roles taught me something new. Whether I was taking care of myself or helping a stranger, I noticed that the healthcare system often treats people like paperwork instead of like leaders.

I know how it feels to be a passenger in a journey that is all about you.

My own experiences in the healthcare system showed me how easily families can feel unheard or overlooked. I became determined to change that. With twenty years in healthcare — including more than a decade in medical research — I’ve seen how the system works from every angle, and I know where patients need stronger support.
I studied at the University of South Carolina and Emory University so I could better serve individuals and families. I founded Wells Wellness Advocacy Services to help people understand their care and take charge of their wellbeing with confidence.
My goal is simple: to give you the clarity, support, and strategy you deserve so you can focus on what matters most — feeling well and staying healthy. You don’t just need a guide; you deserve a partner who knows the system and helps you lead it.
