About me
Working with Senior's as a Medicare Consultant since 2008, I am licensed, credentialed and insured to help Senior people navigate the ever changing world of insurance. My hope is to educate people about how their insurance plans can most benefit them as well as helping people find every single benefit that they may qualify for. There are state and federal programs available as well as patient assistance programs through prescription drug companies that can make real differences in how much people pay for their healthcare. It is vitally important that people understand the premium requirements for Part B and D as to avoid penalties as well as learning about Extra Help, a program for lower income individuals. At times, people have a misunderstanding of what programs are available to them due to income and for the lower income Seniors, it is important to know that they may qualify for their State Medicaid program. Additionally, there are local city and county resources that can make a significant difference in daily living with help services such as transportation, pharmacists that help with prescription discounts, meals on wheels for nutrition, faith and prayer supports. Having worked in this are for 18 years, and thriving in a community of outreach, I find my purpose in helping Seniors that need help in these areas.
