Make Sure YOU Can Be Found

Many say that finding an independent advocate is like finding a needle in a haystack. Here are some tips to help you be found.

1. Update your profile in GNANow. Add testimonials to your page, and anything new you would want the public to know about you as an advocate. Try to add something new each week, so your page stays fresh

2. If you have a profile on LinkedIn, make sure you include your contact information: Link to your website, business email, and business phone.

3. If you have any other ways people can reach you, please add that information to the signature line.

4. Consider writing a blog on GNA NOW. gnanow.org/blogs Tell your story, share a tip for other advocates, or share a problem you were able to help a client overcome. Make sure you add your name, title, company name, email, and website in your bio at the end of the post.

5. On Your Patient Advocacy 360, add what conferences you are going to in 2026. Make yourself visible and network, as you never know where your next referral will come from!
