When I was 17, my father had a massive heart attack at age 50. Both my parents were holocaust survivors who didn't speak English fluently. When it came to communicating with my father's doctors, I needed to step in and help explain to my parents what was happening and what my father's treatment options were. This wasn't an easy task because I had no relatives to help me understand the medical terms and assist in communicating with my father's doctors. This early experience made me aware that thousands of people have similar experiences at any given moment in time. Maybe you're going through a period of uncertainty right now after receiving a new medical diagnosis that you don't quite understand. Over the years, I've have walked with love ones through heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes. This has shaped my deep empathy and fuels my mission to guide others through moments of uncertainty with clarity and strength. I believe that no one should face their healthcare journey alone. Today, I lead Holistic Patient Advocates, LLC, with a steady commitment to compassion, informed decision-making, and unwavering support-- ensuring that every client feels understood, empowered, and never alone.
