Intro: PhD Level Research offered & specialize in urology/sexual health and rare genetic conditions
Hi everyone,
I’m Lola Lozano, and I run Osér Clair, a virtual health research and advocacy practice. I started it after coordinating my mother’s care through her cancer diagnosis.
After defending my PhD work in genetics, I decided to take a year long sabbatical to start this business before returning to the University of Iowa to complete my final year of medical school. My experience is focused on rare and genetic conditions, urology and sexual health, eye disease, and early-phase clinical trials.
I plan to continue working in my business full time after being conferred my MD/PhD degrees in 2028.
At Osér Clair I offer several options for working with clients, focused primarily on generating a comprehensive, plain-language research report for clients to educate them on their condition(s) and all their options including clinical trials and investigational therapies. My goal is to use education to empower them to make healthcare decisions with clarity and confidence and improve the relationships they have with their healthcare team by making the most of their short appointments.
I’m glad to be part of this network and look forward to learning from all of you. Please feel free to reach out anytime: oserclair.com/
Best wishes,
Lola

could i suggest adjusting the title of your post to help others know your unique niche? i can edit it for you if you prefer.
I grew up in Des Moines and know what a great school U of Iowa is. I give you a lot of kudos for keeping at your degrees at the same time taking care of your mother. You will be great at advocacy.
Best of luck in your future endeavors.
