Anne Wienke

My story is centered on a deep passion for nursing and a genuine respect for every aspect of care a person may encounter. Over the course of three decades in healthcare, I have had the privilege of working across many settings and roles, and I have loved much of what I have done. Those experiences have shaped not only my clinical knowledge, but my ability to truly understand patients, families, and the systems that serve them. My experience is invaluable because it is both professional and personal. I am the mother of two daughters with complex medical needs, and that lived experience has profoundly influenced the way I practice nursing and advocacy. I understand firsthand how overwhelming, fragmented, and exhausting the healthcare system can be—for patients and for caregivers. This dual perspective allows me to bridge gaps between providers, insurers, and support services while keeping the patient and family at the center of care. My “why” is rooted in advocacy, compassion, and the belief that no family should have to navigate complex care alone. I bring not only decades of nursing expertise, but also empathy, persistence, and a deep commitment to helping others feel heard, supported, and empowered.
