I am a Registered Nurse with over three decades of experience, half of which has been dedicated exclusively to the care of pediatric patients and young adults. Formerly with the Duke PICU, I spent 2020–2025 focused entirely on navigating complex care for pediatric patients: identifying medical homes, connecting with specialists, supporting chronic disease management, and coordinating disability services including IEPs and 504 plans. I assist families in accessing resources tailored to each disease process.
I am Pediatric Certified and a former Certified Diabetes Educator. I also serve as a clinical consultant for diabetes and complex disease management for area schools, providing guidance, care coordination, and support to ensure that children and young adults receive the services they need. Transitions of care and insurance navigation are two of my passions.
