About me
My commitment to advocacy is deeply personal. I have lived this journey from both sides—navigating the fragmented medical system to save my own father twice and fighting to ensure his care aligned with his quality of life. Furthermore, my work is a tribute to my daughter Kayla's legacy and her profound philosophy to "Just Live." During my 20-plus years as a Registered Nurse, I have walked alongside hundreds of families in their most vulnerable moments across intensive care units, oncology wards, behavioral health facilities, home health, and hospice care. Time and again, I saw the same heartbreaking pattern: brilliant specialists understood their individual pieces of the puzzle, but nobody was looking at the whole picture. Families were left to connect the dots in moments of high-stress crisis, often resulting in medical errors, communication breakdowns, and preventable hospital readmissions. I founded Just Live Patient Advocacy & Care Navigation, LLC, on a simple, non-negotiable belief: healthcare should support life—not consume it. The purpose of professional advocacy is to protect your family's precious remaining time from being swallowed by administrative and medical chaos. I do not replace your treating medical team; instead, I equip you with the absolute clinical authority and objective guidance needed to make confident, proactive decisions.
