Social Workers in the Wild: A Virtual Roundtable for Advocates

Hey fellow advocates—BSW, MSW, DSW, LCSW, and every set of initials in between.

I'm Kim Feth, a social worker with 13 years in the field—Level 1 Trauma, home health, and more—who also spent a decade in medical billing and am in a two-year medical crisis with my own family.

That combination eventually became Healthcare Survival Kit, and it's got me thinking a lot about who else is out there doing this work in different ways.

So I'm hosting a casual virtual roundtable for social work advocatesno agenda, no pitch, no pressure.

I want to hear:

  • What problems are you solving for the people you serve?
  • Where are the gaps nobody's filling?
  • Where might there be room to collaborate?

This is just a conversation between people who got into this work for the same reason. Come as you are. Bring your coffee, tea, or chocolate.

Drop a comment or DM me if you want to be added directly.

Thank you! I'm always nervous but I've recently decided to take a new stance on the public-facing matters.

I would be interested in joining the conversation. This is a great idea and way to connect with others in our field! Thank you for posting this!

This is such a thoughtful and meaningful topic, Kim. You really made me reflect!

I’m not a social work advocate, but I truly enjoy learning from different perspectives and experiences. I’ll work on my list over the next three weeks so I can be ready for your roundtable.

Looking forward to it!
