About me
My journey into this work began with my own experience living with severe endometriosis and hearing doctors tell me that I would never have children. After multiple surgeries and still feeling no better, I was left carrying not only the physical pain, but also the heartbreak, fear, and uncertainty that came with it. That season of my life opened my eyes to how deeply stress, pain, emotional well-being, and daily life are all connected. In the midst of that struggle, I found comfort and strength in holistic health and whole-person support, and it changed the way I understood healing. What began as a personal search for relief and balance gradually became something much bigger. And despite what I had been told, I was eventually blessed to conceive and give birth to a wonderful son, while also embracing the gift of becoming a mother to my three stepchildren. That journey grew into the creation of Intentional Calm and inspired me to develop the Intentional Calm Method, built on five core pillars: State, Story, Strategy, Systems, and Spirit. Today, I use that framework to help others feel supported, steadied, and empowered as they move through difficult seasons of life.
In addition, for more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate the eldercare journey with compassion, patience, and a calm, steady approach. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when you are trying to make important decisions for someone you love, and my goal is always to help people feel more supported, more at ease, and clearer about the path ahead.
