Medicaid is most likely seeing this as «cosmetic surgery.» Find out if the insurance will cover the surgery if the doctor deems it «medically» necessary.

If someone is receiving SSI/SSDI under the age of 65 they will be eligible for medicare after 2 years. I would find out why the procedure is not covered and go from there.

Like Victoria and Jeff I switched to BiBerk and found them to be very reasonable in price.

Sheri, if you are initiating the virtual visit, you can send the client your personal link. If the physician schedules the appointment, they'll send you the link to join their virtual platform. At least this has been my experience.

I have attended virtual appointments with my client in the past. How I do it is have the facility or doctor send me the link and attend with the client at her home.
Another client calls me and puts me on speaker when the doctor comes into the room to see her.

Hi Natasha,
The only Independent Advocate that I know that is billing Medicare is Terry McLellan — Sunnavhca. She is located in TX. I'm sure she will be happy to have a conversation with you. Here's her email: terry@sunnavhca.com
Let her know I referred you.

Hey Maggie,
I get these calls as well. Based on my past experience, I've spent anywhere from 2-3 hrs with the client and family. So I quote a flat consultation fee. If they want to execute/notarize the documents, then I charge extra. Hope that helps.

Try reaching out to Jenny Nolan. She specializes in billing however, if I recall, she has some experience in the Gyn field.
