hi Amy! Thanks for posting! glad you asked and hope others hop in and join the convo.

I used the new EDS subdirectory, and searched for FMLA and came back with this result.

gnanow.org/advocates/group-eds-advocates?search_type=help_text&help_text=fmla&locations=

searching the whole directory, widened the response slightly but not a ton. not a ton of our advocates focus on the work world interactions very heavily.

Jenn,
I'm… speechless.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so glad you found it worth your time, and worth the brief wait.

Hi, Rachel! I heard your call wtih intake. Since you're not already working with the client, ideal would be to have them call our intake team, and let our team help and provide them a curated list of advocates.

If folks reply to this post here, we can include those responses as part of our response to the client also!

Hi, Rachel! Given the new updated EDS landing page, would you still like me ot tag EDSer's here? I'm very happy to do so, but not if it's going to overwhelm you unneccesarily.

Hi, Kathaleen!
I emailed you back today, not sure if yo'uve seen it.
With Medicare Advantage, it's messy. THANKS FOR POSTING HERE.
gnanow.org/advocates/michael.html — last i know, he's taking Medicare and is in the houston area.
Terry McLellan is in McKinney — not local but in texas — and takes Medicare, and i believe some TX advantage plans.

The others I know of work with Umbra, who currently isn't taking medicare advantage.

The email I sent you gives you a list of the agencies that we know of that accept any advantage plans at all. The easiest approach is to have the client contact those agencies to see if they are in network. MOST have a web tool on their sites where she can enter her medicare information and it will tell her if they are in network.

Interesting! thanks for letting me know. I'll make a note to our engineering team. this platform is still really new (2 months old now!) and we still have some things act oddly sometimes.

My understanding is it matters if the patient is SSI or SSDI, but not certain.
